China said it appreciates France's responsible attitude toward facilitating the return of lost cultural relics to their countries of origin, and expressed hope that relevant legislation will complete the process at an early date. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian also said China is ready to deepen cooperation with France and other parties on the protection and repatriation of displaced cultural relics.
