A Pew poll released on April 14 shows that the number of US respondents expressing positive views of China has nearly doubled since 2023, reaching 27%.

CGTN Stringer hit the streets of New York to ask young Americans how they would describe China in three words. Economy, power and roots kept coming up. Asked how easy is it to access credible information on the country, one New Yorker put it bluntly: "My algorithm tends to shine a bad light on China. But I feel like there's more to it than just that."
