The US-China Music Institute at the Bard College Conservatory of Music presented the "Guzheng Tianxia" concert at the China Institute of America in New York on April 30 local time, bringing together more than 200 music lovers, scholars and cultural enthusiasts for an evening celebrating traditional Chinese music.
The concert was held as part of the institute's annual conference on Chinese music in the West, which aims to explore the global development and cultural exchange of Chinese music traditions.

The performance featured guzheng performers such as Yuan Sha from the Central Conservatory of Music, Hong Kong guzheng artist Xu Lingzi, and guzheng performer Xia Jing from the Bard Conservatory of Music. Through a selection of classical and contemporary works, the musicians showcased the expressive beauty and rich heritage of the guzheng, one of China's most iconic traditional instruments.
