In north China's Shanxi Province, Unitree humanoid robots recreate the gestures of the Yungang Grottoes' stone guardians, which date back to the Northern Wei era (386-534 AD).

After six years of dance archaeology, researchers have transformed these ancient poses into choreography – using bionic technology to bring the thousand-year-old figures back to life.
