Recently, the Experimental High School Attached to UESTC in Chengdu showcased cutting-edge technologies such as AI, VR and robotics, along with students' science and innovation achievements, at a science education event. A dynamic lineup of presentations, Unitree robotic dogs, student-controlled spider robots and VEX robotics challenges highlighted the middle school innovation exchange event. A series of engaging experiments enabled students to experience the wonder and appeal of science firsthand. The activity was closely aligned with China's "AI + Education" initiative, promoting the integrated development of education, technology and talent. VEX robots, designed, built, assembled and programmed by middle school students, have won multiple championships in competitions. A basketball-shooting robot uses visual recognition to locate the hoop and automatically calculates optimal angle and force, achieving 95% accuracy. The UESTC RoboCon team has won multiple domestic and international titles. The event also featured simulated flight challenges, brain-computer interfaces and ultrasonic directional speakers, offering a multi-dimensional showcase of science and innovation education.
