Is artificial intelligence (AI) a troublemaker or peacemaker? CGTN digital reporter Shen Shiwei posed the question to defense officials and experts at the 2026 Beijing Xiangshan Forum Navigator Meeting held from May 8-9, which brought together more than 120 defense officials, experts and scholars from over 40 countries and international organizations. Defence attachés from Hungary and Norway and military experts from Thailand and Russia shared their thoughts and concerns around AI.
