China put paid to the memory of a stinging group defeat, beating the Republic of Korea 3–0 in the men's quarterfinals at the 2026 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals in London.

World No. 1 Wang Chuqin set the tone, overcoming Oh Jun‑sung in five games. Oh had been one of the architects of ROK's earlier 3–1 group win, a match in which Wang had been rested, but the head‑to‑head now reads firmly in Wang's favour. His solitary loss to Oh came in the men's singles quarters at the 2024 Asian Championships.

Wang edged a tight first game 11–9, blew the second wide open with an 11–1 charge, then weathered Oh's fightback. Oh took the next two 11–8 and 11–7, before Wang closed the decider 11–7 to give the defending champions the lead.

Lin Shidong, sharper than he had been in the group stage, followed by dispatching Jang Woo‑jin 11–3, 13–11, 11–8, and Liang Jingkun produced one of his tournament's best displays to finish the tie, beating An Jae‑hyun 11–7, 11–5, 15–13.

China now awaits the winner of France and Brazil in the semifinals.
