The Pentagon has started releasing files on UFOs, tapping into public curiosity about unidentified phenomena.

The files feature intriguing sightings, such as a bright object making 90-degree turns over Kazakhstan and Buzz Aldrin observing a light source during the Apollo 11 mission.

The Trump administration said the public can draw its own conclusions from the information in the files.
