The Chengdu 2026 Triathlon World Cup series was completed on the weekend in Jintang County, the first time "four-in-one" competitions had been held at the same time. The competition featured World Cup individual races, mixed relay, a Chengdu–Chongqing twin-city open race, and the Tuojiang River Basin invitational.
Athletes from 30 countries and regions, including Australia, the United States, Canada and China, competed alongside 800 domestic participants from across China's 30 provincial-level regions. Officials from World Triathlon, China's General Administration of Sport, the Chinese Triathlon Sports Association, and the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau served as referees and technical delegates.
Located in northeastern Chengdu along the Tuojiang River, Jintang County is known for its rich ecological landscape and long-standing experience in hosting international triathlon events, offering mature facilities and a well-established race environment.
