China came from behind to defeat Japan 3-2 and claim the women's team title at the ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026 on Sunday, extending its record to 24 championships. 

Speaking at the post match press conference, Sun Yingsha praised the team's preparation and fighting spirit, calling Japan "a very strong and well balanced team" and describing the final as "an evenly matched contest." She also thanked her teammates, saying everyone gave their all and showed the best version of themselves.
