Gaza's lifeline: The field hospital that won't quit

More than seven months after the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement took effect, the humanitarian situation in Gaza remains deeply concerning. With the recent US-Israel military actions against Iran, aid shipments into Gaza have further decreased, intensifying suffering on the ground.

Against this grim backdrop, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) field hospital in Rafah continues to operate – far beyond its intended lifespan, according to ICRC spokesperson Pat Griffiths.
