China will host the 2026 APEC meeting in Shenzhen in November and welcome leaders from 21 member economies. As the host this year, China has kicked off the APEC "China Year" in Shenzhen. This year's theme is "Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together," with openness, innovation and cooperation being three priorities. Shenzhen, a city renowned for its technology and innovation, serves as a microcosm of the close ties between China and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Vietnamese youth Tieu Thanh has lived in China for many years and has left her footprints in Beijing, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Nanning and other cities. After shuttling between China and Vietnam, she feels cooperation between the two countries in multiple fields is deepening day by day, especially in the area of green development. Both sides signed a memorandum of understanding on green development to promote the green transformation of the economy and society.
