China's position of firmly opposing the US arms sales to China's Taiwan region is consistent and clear, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press briefing on Tuesday.

Responding to questions concerning US President Donald Trump's visit to China, Guo said the two heads of state would conduct in-depth exchanges on major issues concerning China-US relations as well as world peace and development.
