This Tang Dynasty (618-907) gold-inlaid white jade armlet is composed of three curved jade segments forming a ring. Tiger-head gold hinges, secured by two gold rivets, connect the segments. The segments are joined by three hollow clasps, with small gold bars threaded inside to hold them together, allowing flexible movement and ease of wear.
