Chinese animation has seen explosive growth and outstanding performance in recent years. Internationally celebrated animation director Anthony LaMolinara offered his views on how Chinese animated films can better penetrate the US market. He pointed out that Chinese animation has achieved remarkable success with a unique aesthetic quite different to Hollywood. To gain a solid foothold in North America, he noted, it needs professional PR teams for efficient promotion and local distribution.

LaMolinara also noted that China's one-of-a-kind animation aesthetics can diversify and revitalize the increasingly homogenized Hollywood animation industry.
