The world's first standard modular battery-swapping ship has been put into operation at Wuhu Port in east China's Anhui Province. It carried 49 standard containers and successfully completed the loading and unloading operation. The ship has a deadweight of 3,000 tonnes and a maximum speed of 8 knots. It is equipped with six standard modular batteries, each with a capacity of 430 kWh. A single battery can be swapped in just 5 minutes, and the whole ship's batteries can be swapped in less than 30 minutes.
