"The future of peace on earth depends on us having a deep understanding of each other and not being suspicious of each other." This belief has guided Roberta Lipson since she first arrived in Beijing in 1979 as a pioneer of China-US business. 

Over a 47-year journey, she brought private, patient-centered healthcare to China by founding the United Family Healthcare, China's first foreign-owned private hospital. 

While her professional success earned her the prestigious "Great Wall Friendship Award," the highest honor given by the Beijing municipal government to foreigners, her current mission is deeper: fostering genuine people-to-people cultural exchanges. 

By participating in the Kuliang Forum twice and providing international internship opportunities, Roberta has also inspired many young people around the world to come to China, calling them to discover the authentic China.
