US President Donald Trump paid a state visit to China from May 13 to 15. During the visit, the two sides reached common understandings on the new vision of building a constructive China-US relationship of strategic stability and engaged in candid, in-depth, constructive and strategic communication on major issues concerning world peace and development, exploring a correct way for the two major countries to get along and reach a series of consensuses.

A CGTN stringer in Brazil interviewed residents to learn their views on the new positioning and future development of China-US ties.
