Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a 45-day extension of their ceasefire that took effect last month, a spokesperson for the US State Department said Friday. The United States rejected Iran's 14-point peace proposal aimed at ending the war on Friday, according to Iran's Tehran Times. At the same time, tensions continue to mount over Tehran's nuclear program and regional security. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the situation around the Strait of Hormuz is "very complicated."
