A community festival was recently held at the Jianwai Street neighborhood of Chaoyang District in eastern Beijing, bringing together Chinese and international residents through cultural exchange activities. Visitors explored a lively market featuring a variety of products, including traditional Chinese herbal tea drinks and ethnic Miao embroidery from Shibadong Village, offering participants a closer look at China's intangible cultural heritage.

Meanwhile, there were international booths showcasing products such as tea and coffee from Burundi and El Salvador, with participation from several foreign embassies in China. Through cultural presentations and interactive exchanges, residents living in this neighborhood were able to experience the richness of global civilizations close to home. The event was held ahead of the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, observed annually on May 21.
