The Spanish edition of a book of essays on Chinese President Xi Jinping's economic thought was presented at a symposium held in Santiago, Chile on Thursday.

Experts and scholars conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on the significance of Xi's economic thought, China's development philosophy and China-Chile exchanges and cooperation at the symposium.

Xi's economic thought not only provides guidance for China's economic development, but also offers insights and inspiration for countries around the world, particularly developing nations, in exploring development paths suited to their own national conditions, said the participants at the event.

The event was hosted by the Economic Daily and the China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration.
