Tourists from around the world are flocking to the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, where visitor numbers continue to rise following the reopening of major attractions such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests. As a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site and one of Beijing's most iconic landmarks, the Temple of Heaven has become an important window for international visitors to explore traditional Chinese culture and history through immersive experiences.

According to official statistics for China's 2026 Labor Day holiday from May 1 to May 5, Beijing's Temple of Heaven received 776,400 visits, ranking second among all parks in the capital city, only behind the Summer Palace.

Many foreign tourists are drawn by the grandeur of ancient imperial architecture and the elegance of Eastern aesthetics, strolling through the historic complex to admire its timeless beauty. This week, Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump also visited the Temple of Heaven, further highlighting the site's cultural significance and global appeal.
