Panda bonds have opened new space for China-Europe financial cooperation, said Klemen Bostjancic, Slovenia's deputy prime minister and finance minister, in a recent interview with CGTN's Cui Yingjie in Beijing.
In March this year, Slovenia became the first Central and Eastern European country in the eurozone to enter China's panda bond market. Bostjancic said the issuance received strong market response and drew broad attention across Europe.
He added that closer cooperation between the EU and China is "a must" amid growing global economic uncertainty.
