USS Ford returns after 11-month record deployment, involved in operations against Iran and Venezuela

The USS Gerald R. Ford returned home to Virginia on Saturday after an 11-month deployment, during which it was involved in military operations against Venezuela and Iran. The carrier spent a total of 326 days at sea – the longest US carrier deployment since the end of the Vietnam War.
