Two people have died and eight are missing after a truck plunged into a river in south China on Saturday, local authorities said on Monday, after the body of a female was recovered.
A truck carrying 15 people fell into the water on Saturday night while crossing a flooded bridge in Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
China's State Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters has sent a work team to the region to assist and guide search and rescue efforts.
