China stands ready to work with the United States to fully and accurately implement the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Monday.

Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a regular press briefing in response to a query on the White House outlining the key outcomes of US President Donald Trump's visit to China.

Guo said that during Trump's visit, the two heads of state agreed on a new vision for building a constructive bilateral relationship of strategic stability and made plans for the next stage of high-level exchanges, dialogue, and cooperation across various fields, including diplomacy and trade.

They also exchanged in-depth views on international and regional hotspot issues of common concern, added Guo.
