Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng met with Lisa Su, chair and CEO of US chipmaker AMD, in Beijing on Monday, calling on multinational companies to seize opportunities in China and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

He, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said the Chinese and US heads of state held an important meeting in Beijing last week, reaching a series of significant consensuses. Under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state, the economic and trade teams of both countries have reached outcomes that are generally balanced and positive, which will inject more certainty and stability into the next phase of China-US economic and trade cooperation as well as the global economy, He said.

He welcomed multinationals, including AMD, to seize China's development opportunities and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

Su spoke positively of the outcomes of the meeting between the two heads of state and expressed willingness to continue expanding operations in China and increasing investment in the country.
