A new vision for China-US relations centered on "constructive strategic stability"  is taking shape following the Chinese and US presidents' meeting in Beijing. Issues like tariffs, rare earths, investments and fentanyl still need hard negotiations. He also referred to Washington's protectionist instincts, arguing that closing doors to cooperation is the wrong way to make America great again.
