Ten people have been confirmed dead and five others rescued after a pickup truck plunged into a river in south China, local authorities said on Tuesday.

A truck carrying 15 people fell into the water on Saturday night while crossing a flooded bridge amid heavy downpours in Huanjiang Maonan Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

All missing people have been found, and the cause of the accident is currently under investigation, according to local authorities.
