Russian helicopters showcased at China-Russia Expo in Harbin

A Russian aerospace company showcased several helicopters, including the import-substituted Mi-171A3, at the 10th China-Russia Expo in Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, this week.

The Mi-171A3 is an upgraded version of the widely used Mi-8 series helicopter and is designed for offshore operations, cargo and passenger transport, and search-and-rescue missions.

Models of the Ka-32A11M firefighting helicopter and the Mi-171A2 multipurpose helicopter were also displayed at the event.

According to the company, more than 450 Russian helicopters of various models have been delivered to Chinese customers over the years, supporting transportation, firefighting and other specialized operations across the country.
