Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to China from May 19 to 20, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced on May 16.

Ahead of the visit, a CGTN stringer interviewed Moscow residents about their impressions of China and what they know about the achievements of cooperation between the two countries. 

Konstantin, a dancer by profession, said that China is magnificent and one of the world's oldest civilizations. Dalak Abdulmalik Salamanovich, a student, said that nowadays, Chinese cars can be seen everywhere on the streets of Russia, and Chinese and Russians often travel to each other's countries.
