The Working-Level Meeting of the 22nd Heads of Asian Coast Guard Agencies Meeting (HACGAM) has opened in the Chinese coastal city of Quanzhou. The four-day meeting, hosted by the China Coast Guard, brings together more than 50 foreign delegates from 18 countries and regions plus two international organizations.

Delegates will discuss critical topics including combating unlawful activities at sea, maritime search and rescue operations, and marine environmental protection. Also on the agenda is law enforcement information sharing, as well as capacity building.
