US Vice President JD Vance said at a White House press conference on May 19 that a US troop deployment to Poland had been delayed, but added it was not accurate to say the troops were being withdrawn from Europe.
Vance said he believes this is not bad for Europe, but rather an encouragement for the continent to "take more ownership."
