Analyst: China's rise is a benefit, not a threat, to Russia

Russian political analyst Dmitry Babich says Russia has rejected the Western narrative that China's rise must come at Moscow's expense. Instead, he argues, Russia sees China's growth as an opportunity, not a threat. Unlike what he describes as unequal trade patterns between the West and parts of Africa, Asia and other regions, Babich says China-Russia relations are built on balance, mutual benefit and a shared rejection of "colony–metropole" dynamics.
