Herds of blue sheep have recently been spotted roaming cliffs and alpine meadows in the Qilian Mountain National Park in northwest China's Qinghai Province, as rising temperatures turn the grasslands green. The nationally protected wild animals were seen foraging and skillfully climbing steep rocky slopes. Their appearance reflects the region's improving ecological environment and wildlife habitat.
