Intl. cultural industries fair opens, showcasing China's high-quality cultural development

The 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) opened on Thursday at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, drawing more than 6,300 exhibitors from home and abroad, with more than 120,000 cultural products on display.

The fair has also attracted 310 overseas exhibitors from 65 countries and regions, and is expected to welcome more than 35,000 overseas professional visitors.

The fair launched its first dedicated exhibition zone for APEC member economies, showcasing cultural tourism achievements, specialty products, intangible cultural heritage items and regional cuisine from across the Asia-Pacific region.

A new cross-border e-commerce zone has also been introduced, bringing together international logistics companies to support overseas expansion of cultural products and boost international cultural trade.

The event includes eight exhibition halls covering areas such as global cultural trade, cultural heritage and innovation, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area cultural industry, and cultural technology.

This year's fair focuses on digital and intelligent development in the cultural industry, aiming to combine advanced technology, global resources and new consumer experiences to promote innovation and international cooperation.
