The Secret Garden at the Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture in Beijing serves as a practical model for the development of garden cities. It combines garden city concepts with eco-friendly, sustainable development to create immersive garden living spaces. It is also a popular venue for teenagers to enjoy horticulture, sightseeing, study and hands-on practice, as well as observing nature.
Year-round gardening activities are also held here. Visitors can join classes in flower arrangement and team gardening to experience horticultural art, raise environmental awareness and support the creation of greener garden cities.
During the May Day holiday, a series of themed activities were launched, including a popular science lesson about Chinese roses, one of Beijing's city flowers, as well as succulent pot-planting, courtyard landscape improvement, and scientific sign design. Together, these activities offered visitors a rich eco-cultural experience.
