Russian student Anna Yuschenko is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in international relations at Tsinghua University. The opportunity that brought her to China came from the Chinese Government Scholarship.
Now, she has been living in China for four years, and is "simply in love" with the land that has given her knowledge, friendships and a new understanding of the world. She said every day she feels lucky that she made the decision back then to come to China.
Yuschenko hopes that in the future China and Russia can cooperate more closely in fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) and energy. She believes China is highly capable in the application of AI, while Russia has a strong theoretical and mathematical foundation in computer science.
"By combining these different but complementary approaches, we could achieve much more together than separately," she said.
