US President Donald Trump said the United States would not allow Iran to retain its highly enriched uranium, adding that Washington would "probably destroy it" after obtaining it. Speaking at a White House event, Trump also said no ship would go to or from Iran without US approval. Later in the day, Reuters, citing Iranian sources, reported that Iran's Supreme Leader had directed that the country's near-weapons-grade uranium should not be sent abroad.
