A new generation in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region is growing up with more than one way to imagine their future. All groups there "share the opportunity to live a fulfilling life and realize their dreams," and each path is beginning to look different.

Some stay to work at the grassroots level, protecting people's health. Others carry Xizang's culture across borders, inviting people around the world to know more about Xizang via photography and clothing. Still others put Lhasa into a coffee cup, crafting brews with local Tibetan flavors. Many discover a new voice on the plateau, even beginning to connect with thousands through livestreams. Some join the People's Liberation Army, taking to the skies to help protect their country.
