China and Serbia have maintained vibrant cultural exchanges that reflect the spirit of mutual learning between civilizations. As a key event marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, the Special Exhibition of the Contemporary Art of Serbia was presented at the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale earlier this year as the only country-themed exhibition of the event.

Under the theme "Coexistence," the exhibition explored the relationship between humanity, nature and technology amid social transformation. A total of 32 works and installations created by 19 Serbian artists were showcased, offering diverse artistic perspectives on contemporary global issues.
