Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, on Saturday to begin an official visit to China from May 23 to May 26.
A spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry had said that Sharif's visit to China is an important high-level exchange between the two countries, as this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan.
China hopes that both sides will take the visit as an opportunity to carry forward the traditional friendship, deepen cooperation across the board and write a new chapter in building an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, the spokesperson said.
