New footage released on Friday from the Wolong area of Giant Panda National Park in southwest China's Sichuan Province shows the world's only known wild white giant panda roaming freely through snow-covered forests and bamboo fields.
The videos, recorded between 2024 and 2026, capture the rare albino panda moving confidently through its natural habitat at elevations above 2,400 meters. Researchers say the panda, first discovered in 2019 as a cub, now appears healthy, strong and well-adapted to life in the wild.
