France has ​decided to ‌ban Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir ‌from entering French territory, ‌said French Foreign Minister ‌Jean-Noel Barrot on Saturday.

"As ​from today, Itamar Ben-Gvir is banned from entering French territory," ⁠wrote Barrot on ⁠X, referring to the decision that reflected anger over the ‌mistreatment of Gaza flotilla activists.

"Along ⁠with my ​Italian ​counterpart, ‌I am asking ‌the European Union ⁠to also take sanctions against ⁠Itamar Ben-Gvir," he added.
