On the Tiangong space station, taikonaut Lai Ka-ying will conduct experiments including operating Hong Kong's first scientific payload to monitor greenhouse gases. The device, the Multi-spectral Imaging Carbon Observer, known as the Tianyun camera, was sent into space earlier in May on the Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft. It's the world's first compact, high-resolution collaborative detector for carbon dioxide and methane point sources.
