2026 marks the eighth anniversary since the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta was elevated to a national strategy. Since then, the region has become more interconnected than ever, accelerating growth across a range of industries, including humanoid robotics.

The region includes Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces, along with the city of Shanghai, with each playing a distinct role in the robotics ecosystem. Jiangsu's strong manufacturing base allows companies to rapidly scale production and upgrade hardware. In Anhui, a growing cluster of industrial "valleys" is strengthening robots' sensing and perception capabilities. Zhejiang's dynamic innovation environment continues to attract young robotics talent and startups. Meanwhile, in Shanghai, leading AI scientists are developing advanced "brains" that could help robots better understand and interact with the physical world.

Together, each part of the Yangtze River Delta contributes a different strength, like fingers forming a fist. Combined, the region's capabilities are far more powerful than any one part alone.
