Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic arrived in Beijing on Sunday for his first state visit to China, which will run through May 28. Serbia is the first European country to agree with China on building a community with a shared future for the new era, making it an important partner for China in southeast Europe.
A CGTN stringer took to the streets of Serbia's capital Belgrade to speak with local residents about their impressions of China, their understanding of China-Serbia cooperation and their expectations for President Vucic's visit to China. The interviewees generally described China as a world-leading economic powerhouse, and they look forward to the continued deepening of bilateral cooperation to take China-Serbia relations to the next level.
