The Israeli military said late on Monday that it was carrying out strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including areas linked to the group in and around Beirut's southern suburbs. Residents in Dahieh, a Hezbollah-controlled area in southern Beirut, were seen fleeing their homes overnight as tensions escalated.
