Family mourns child killed in Iran school strike

Nearly three months after a strike hit the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, southern Iran, families of the children killed are still struggling with their loss. According to AP, evidence suggests the deadly blast was likely caused by a US airstrike targeting a nearby Revolutionary Guard compound, while Reuters said a US military investigation into the incident is nearing completion. The February 28 strike killed more than 165 people, primarily children, according to AP, and became one of the deadliest civilian incidents of the Iran conflict.
