Chinese esports is no longer just about winning or losing. It has become a space where young people connect, culture is shared and passion is sparked. Speaking to CGTN, Huang Cheng, head of the King Pro League, Honor of Kings esports, said esports reflects both competitive spirit and the richness of Chinese culture.

Players' teamwork, resilience and drive continue to inspire fans. At this year's Challenger Cup, a wheelchair user, who had followed the scene for 10 years, attended a live event for the first time to cheer for their favorite team. For many, esports is more than a game – it's connection, encouragement and support.
